Fog

Carl Sandburg. 1878–

THE fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

  2. Thanks, Baroque. My Dad memorized that poem when he was in 5th grade, and recited it as the fog rolled in yesterday morning.
