April 30 Blogging Silence

onedaysilence.jpg

April 30 provides an opportunity for all bloggers to honor the victims of violence in this world by remaining silent. I will be honoring this moritoriumm, and will neither blog nor comment tomorrow.

It’s such a small thing. I wish I were doing more.

  2. Little Diamond, see Maze and Yazeez and it originated at OneDayBlogSilence.com, originally to honor the victims of Virginia Tech, and then it evolved to honor victims of violence everywhere.

  3. Today was the first time I hear of this. I would commend efforts to combat unneccesary violence but I think this kicd of thing draws a lot more attention to the evolving dynamics of cyber world rather than violence.

  4. 1001 – Most bloggers blog because they love to express themselves, so to refrain from blogging is a kind of sacrifice. And as I said, it is such a small thing – hopefully, it urges us to seek greater ways to create a more peaceful world.
