Friday Surf Fishing

The fishermen brought in a lot of fish, just fishing near the shore. Later, at low tide, they also gathered shell fish. I would love to smell and taste the feast they had after sundown!

  4. eshda3wa – me too. Actually, when I was little, if we caught a fish (halibut or salmon) we were also expected to clean them! I didn’t like eating fish then, but I love it now. Maybe it’s not having to clean it, just buying it all nice and dressed in the store. . . my husband says it is a miracle there is still so much fish in the Gulf after centuries of fishing . . .and it probably is, in the truest sense, the hand of God open so abundantly.
