Books on my To Do List

You’ve seen the books stacked next to my bed. I read constantly, but the stacks never seem to diminish. Maybe because I have an addiction – I buy books faster than I can read them.

Here are some of the new acquisitions to my “read me” stacks:

They all look so good, I don’t know where to start.

  1. I hear “A Case of Two Cities” is a good book – I haven’t seen it anywhere in Kuwait yet though.

My “currently reading” list is getting so large myself and I don’t know how am I supposed to finish it :S

  2. Do you have them stacked next to your bed, Kinan? My sister recommended the Case of Two Cities, so I was glad to find it – in Seattle. I’ll pass it along when I finish!

  3. Love in the Time of Cholera I really really really recommend and if you’re still in the States, the movie is out. It’s not as good as the book, but the story is so captivating anyway, it’s fun to watch πŸ™‚

  7. I’ve always liked Dean Koonz, Momcat, and I may have even read an Odd Thomas before, and not known it was part of a series. Thanks for the encouragement – I look forward to reading it.

  8. Your blog was so intelligent, CiouxianPanic, and it breaks my heart that it is gone. I hope you will reconsider. . . I miss your fresh voice.

  9. I usually am the same, I still have a bunch of “to rad” books all over the place (in storage) – here, different story, I need to start ordering with amazon, I guess πŸ˜‰
(Gladly I can have them send them APO).

  10. No! Only two books left! You need to get ordering, and donate the current books to needy readers in Kuwait! Pass them along!

  11. I’m always bad with giving books away. πŸ˜‰
That’s why I have 16 boxes with books in storage.
I dream of having my own little library room one day πŸ˜‰
But one can always borrow from me πŸ˜€

    BD is the 17th πŸ˜‰

  12. We have the same obsession, Rainmountain. With every move, my husband hints I need to give away some of my “friends.” NOT HIS friends!

  13. Hehe, he’s fine with it, but mainly only because most is already in storage and doesn’t have to move every time πŸ˜‰
I’m glad my pictures are not in folders……urgh……digital is so nice
