Candle Lights

One last photo from my trip to Seattle. I love Christmas light, and this one was SO creative! They must have used several hundred lights to create this candle, the full size of their house:

  4. Glad you all like it. It was a very rainy and windy night when I shot it, and it isn’t as clear as I would like, but you work with what you got, right?

  5. Oh sweetie, I LOVE this display, and enjoy it daily as I drive by. And guess what – its actually supposed to be a TREE with square PACKAGES under it. And amusingly, the house is for sale and completely empty! Somebody, either the seller or the RE agent, spent a lot of energy and creativity doing this – and whether its meant as a sales “eye-catcher” or was done just for the fun of it, I’m hugely appreciative. This and all the other decorated homes give such a lift to this dark, dreary time of year. (3 days to winter soltice – yay!)

  6. Sparkle – a tree? Hmmm, oh, yeh . . . hmm *blushing in embarrassment* now that I look at it again . . . you’re right!

I shot that on the way to the Chinese restaurant where we ate my last night in town, it was so rainy I had to take several because I would have blurry raindrops in the photo!
