Wooo Hoooo WordPress!

From the very beginning of my blogging time, I have been asking WordPress to give us a way to summarize our all time entries – like tell us what our top ten entries have been over the life of the blog. They just gave us that – and more! You can even summarize by quarters, as well as the life of the blog. Woooo Hooooo, WordPress!

  1. Just wanted to tell you how much fun I just had catching up with your posts over the past week, and how much I loved your elegant and so beautifully done Damascus post ๐Ÿ™‚ What a gorgeous place. I would love to go someday and have heard so many wonderful things about it. You really are an Intlxpatr supreme! the adventures you must have had….

And considering your all time top ten posts, I would say you are an even bigger kitchen/foodie person than I am.

I’m off to read your Tudo’s, worst day and mayonnaise posts….

  4. Congrats on the heap pageviews. ๐Ÿ˜‰

You’d love these stats even more if you had StatCounter from the beginning and had them on graphic charts.

  8. Welcome, Ms. Baker, I am so happy to see you! I love Damascus so much I guess it comes across when I write about her. As for food . . . oh yeh!

GreY – I think I rescued all your comments!

Macaholic – You are so right, I love StatCounter. It doesn’t do everything on WordPress, however, like keyword analysis, but WordPress does that well enough. I just totally love the map thing, showing all my recent visitors on the whole world – it is just mind-boggling!

  9. AuraMae – on your stats page, you click on recent posts. Where it used to have summaries for 7 days and 30 days, now they have added Quarter, and All Time. Just click on the one you want, and your numbers come up. I totally LOVE it! I’ve been asking them for that ever since I started blogging!

Check now, Fonz, I bet you DO have it! Or maybe not, since you have your own domain . . .maybe that makes a difference?

  10. Joel – the Persian Warrior Women one was a total fluke, but so much fun – I asked if the Arab/Islamic/Persian tradition had any tradition of women warriors and the responses were AWESOME! Truly, the commenters wrote the post, all kinds of fabulous information. It’s one of my all time favorites.
