New Tower at the Suq al Waqif
We’ve been watching construction on this new tower; it seemed to go up within months. I can’t imagine what it is for, but oh, what fun. It’s the brownish colored tower on the left, before the entrance to Soy. It’s fort-like.

Me like tower!
LLOOLL, Aafke, I like it too. I wonder what it’s going to be – restaurant? office? restrooms?
The idea of building new in an older style is starting to grow on me… Maybe I will like our heritage village (opposite Seif palace) after all.
Nice tower. Hope you’re keeping well.
Thank you, Bu Yousef. I do miss Kuwait, especially now when the weather is turning and Kuwait gets almost crisp in the mornings! I miss my special friends, and I miss the sunrises. And I am having a lot of fun in Doha, having time again with old friends is another special blessing.
I hope you and your family are well, and I hope you will all come to Doha sometime soon!
