So my friends, this is the very first video I have ever uploaded to YouTube, three minutes of the twenty minute spectacular fireworks display on the Corniche last night for Qatar National Day:

  1. We saw the show from directly in front of Palm Tree Island. Your vantage point made the incredible “choreography” all along the length of the Corniche much more obvious! Fantastic, wasn’t it?

  2. Holy smokes, fantastic. However, you got to be in the middle of the sound and fury – we could barely hear it from across the water. 🙂 And we totally missed all the excitement of the extra fireworks going off from the small boats catching fire!

  5. Good to hear your voice, my friend! This video reminded me of your fireworks over the Eiffel Tower quiltlet.

  6. 🙂 That was one of my favorites, Momcat, and I remember your part in it. 🙂 I included it on the back of a quilt for a departing priest . . . he loved Paris!
