Pensacola Weekends

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but we have great, sunshiney weeks in Pensacola, and then Friday nights, the heavens open and a deluge pours forth.

It’s Thursday, a beautiful Thursday, but here is what most weekends look like:

I listen to a light science podcast (by a Dr Karl from Australia) and he once mentioned that it’s to do with with the work week pattern… Anyway I wasn’t sure of the details so I just tried to look it up. I kept getting ‘Why does it always rain on me?’ song (now stuck in my head); and I also came across this:
