Game Day
Today, more than any other Saturday, I saw Game Day T-shirts, not just on men and women, but on entire families. Flying from Pensacola to Atlanta and back, the flights were full of mostly FSU and Auburn. Sitting behind us at lunch today was a family of five, mom, dad, two sons and a baby, all dressed in Auburn colors (Pensacola is in the part of Florida sometimes called FloriBama because it is boarded on two sides by Alabama, and the lines are very fine.
Yes, I was wearing garnet and gold, but it was subtle. 🙂

Here There and Everywhere 
Hate to tell you but I was on the other side. I went to VT, remember!
Intlxpatr : Game Over , Kuwait has just won the Gulf soccer tournament over saudi Arabia 1-0 , our first win since 12 years ago . Cars flooding the streets here touting their horns with kids sticking out of the sun roofs and teenagers dancing in the street . it is national day celebrations all over again
LLLOOLL, Momcat, I totally forgot. It was a great game, but oh, I felt so sorry for the players, it was so icy, so slick and their hands were so cold and it’s so easy to get injured when it is so cold. The win was hard won – wooo hooo on y’all. 🙂
Daggero, no kidding! Oh, what fun, and we are not there to help celebrate. Wooo HOOO, way to go, Kuwait! ! Kuwait has 11 years to make a serious presence in the Qatar World Cup. 🙂
and now its Oregon v. Auburn for the championship. woo hoo!
