We love going to Souk Mubarakia. Took this recently on a cool, clear night from the souks
The Qatteri Cat has not lost interest in the tree, but no longer seems interested in pulling it over. The blanket is Masai, from Tanzania. Great Christmas colors!

you gotta try the kebabs at the mubarakia, you know where everyone sits right outside the mosque there.
you can see them make it fresh with the mutton from the butchers, veggies from veggie stalls, and cooked on hot coals, then served with fresh irani khobs that they make in their kitchen 😛
its a bit pricey as far as kebabs go, but still dirt cheap and delicsious 😛
The cat has no plans to topple the tree… yet!

Skunk – That’s one of the first places we head. We love that place. And I have some photos to take to one of the Iranian bakers – almost black and white, except for the red hot heat of the ovens in the background. . . see you there!
