Today I found this in my spam. Again, folks, this is satire, not a recommendation that you “support me and send more and more money.” It is so straightforward and so manipulative and so fraudulent that it gave me a good laugh:

  2. I agree with Kinan – I have much more sympathy for this man than any of the Nigerian princes, widows of deposed dictators, etc. who write asking for the details of my bank account. This man is asking me to be generous, not suggesting that I am stupid :).

    And I imagine that those sentiments are exactly what the person who sent this email – someone with computer access and savvy enough to know how to send bulk spam – is hoping to capitalize on!
