Big Diamond’s Bat-about
Oh Big Diamond, you can’t imagine. You have an eye for the very best gifts.
I’m sorry the shot is not clear. We can’t get the Qatteri Cat to stay still when he has the bat-about toy. This was the best of all the photos – most, the bat-about disappeared just as I was shooting. *dying laughing* He loved it from the minute it came out of the suitcase.
When we all woke up – around 3 this morning, it was the first thing the Qatteri Cat went for, even before his food. He loves the bat-about, and AdventureMan and I are rolling with laughter, watching him play with it. It is great exercise, and such fun for him – and for us.
It is one of the BEST Christmas gifts ever. Thank you!

awwwwww :*
I love cats from a distance 😀 but this one looks really cute!
Chiki – Six cats – you need one of these! 😉
Fast Lane – He is adorable, but still has his wild instincts, too, so you’d want to watch your fingers!
Your cat looks fat! It needs some exercise 😛
It’s his way of saying, “I’ve missed you” :’)
Awww how cute!
great blog btw.
Mornin’ BIE – You are so right. He would love to be an outdoor cat. It is a challenge to find ways to give him exercise indoors, but outdoors in Kuwait is just too dangerous.
3baid – he wants you to come play!
Orangina – thank you. C’mon by any old time. 🙂
Well, it’s not that dangerous! Take it for a daily jogging along the beach!
uhhhh, yeh, BIE, cat-owners call that “taking the cat for a drag.”
We have the leash. We have the halter. I’ve never met a cat who would be walked. I would love it if it were possible.
Being huge on offering unsolicited advice left- right and centre, I am going to suggest both you and Adventure man seriously start thinking of expanding your family with a long overdue addition of a Kuwaiti dog to keep the Qatari cat company. Further, through this cat and dog co-habitation arrangement you will teach us all how best to co-exist peacefully with our adversaries. Tell me more about Qatari cat, his likes and dislikes, what turns him on, what puts him off and his expectations from life, in general. If I know of a decent dog in need of a caring loving home, I might ask him to come see you. Speak of the devil, there is a Kuwaiti dog itching for your tender loving care( details can be had from the Stallion’s Stabel of thoughts and experiences at thestallion.net)
Beautiful Liar, let’s make a deal. You shoot straight on the sign-in, and I will entertain your advice, unsolicited or not (reserving the right to edit the outrageous!)
AM would love a dog, but I think dogs need more stability and less travelling than we do right now. I agree, we need one! 🙂
You can read more about Qatteri cat by clicking Pets in the Catagories, or doing a search on Qatteri Cat. You will be underwhelmed by the time I waste documenting his adventures.
