It is COOOLLLDDDD this morning again, 4°C/39°F, and the sky is clear. There is a very thin layer of haze on the horizon; it is so clear I can see the freighters far out in the Gulf and the gleam of roofs out on Failaika Island. Woooo Wooooo, a glorious day in Kuwait!

For you non-morning people, I apologize for my enthusiasm and for waking you. 😉

And finally, I have added a Sunrise Series to my catagories, it’s about time, hmmm?

  8. do you have indoor heat? In my Middle Eastern country, we don’t. A few people are starting to buy space heaters now. We’ve suffered through the winter cold for years.

  9. Good morning, Eileen! Today is Shrove Tuesday, and it is colder here than in Seattle, Washington. Some people have heat here, but from what I am hearing, the heating is so poorly installed and so rarely used that it causes more problems than it is worth – allergies, asthmas – the heat blows dust and molds and people get really sick.

Most people buy little space heaters, so we are having a lot of fires because they are left on, forgotten, and overheat and catch bedding or curtains or upholstered furniture on fire, and everything goes up in flames. It is 37° at 0700 this morning. (shiver!)

  10. Well, I’m very happy to hear about your problems with the cold, as “misery loves company!” Thanks for sharing them, and thanks for letting me know it’s not just MY Middle Eastern country!

  11. Eileen, we are back to sand in the air today; people wheezing and hacking. It is warmer, but something is not good, lots of allergies and red-eye infections, too.

  13. Morning, Just4Fun! I used to live in Germany, and I remember days when it was grey all day long. Glad you had a blue-sky day today!
