  1. Are you going to participate?

  2. Probably not. Most of my photography is documentation kinds of stuff, or demonstration, not really artistic. I have entered contests, I have won, but I never felt it was by conscious artistic merit; I felt like it was a lucky shot. There are so many people out there doing truly amazing things; I want THEM to enter! (TeaGirl, are you listening?)

  5. Nicole, it says all citizens and residents – aren’t you a resident?

  6. Nope, still visitors Visa.
We were not really in the mood to do that stuff, because usually we hop around every year anyway.
And nice short trips to Bahrain are needed every three months anyway 😉
Oh well… no big deal. 🙂

  7. Ahhh. . . Nicole, what do you do about a driver’s license, then?

  8. I don’t have a Kuwaiti one, but actually could drive a rental during the time here with my International. Only doesn’t work when you have a civil ID 🙂
But I hate automatic, never drove one. I love the Sticks 😛

  9. I love sticks, too, and never drove anything else before coming to Qatar and Kuwait. I couldn’t even find a stick shift! In truth, automatic is easier in Seattle, where you get stuck waiting for traffic lights on steep hills. 😉

  10. Yeah, steep hills are tricky – or try to get up into a parking house (steep hill up) when half way up your clutch rope says good bye, the clutch sticks to the floor and you have to lift it with the tip of your toe while giving gas with the other 😉
(And driving home that way – yeah)

  11. Oh Nicole, or when the top of your gear shift comes off when you’re trying to shift gears!
