A Feast for the Eyes

Since I can’t do a sunrise photo, I will do a Spring flowers photo, or more than one, a feast for the eyes to get you started this morning:

Tulips lingering into May:

Flowers to commemorate Memorial Day:

And my very favorite, baskets of hanging fushias:

  2. me too! i love Tulips! they’re insanely expensive in Kuwait.

We need another shot of the hanging fushias flowers, a close up, coz that thing looks like it can knock off tulips as my favorite flower!

  3. Ansam, I ❤ tulips, too! In Germany, they were so cheap; I would buy maybe 30 and put them in a big round bowl, and it would look very Van Gogh, and I would just sit and try to absorb how beautiful they are.

Oh Yousef – you couldn’t have asked anything that would make me happier. I will take that as a photo assignment and see what I can come up with!

  5. 3baid – When I wanted my husband to want to settle in Seattle, I made sure to bring him here in May and June – that’s when Seattle is a riot of blooms: rhodedendrons, fruit tree blossoms, fushias, azaleas, tulips, iris – it is purely gorgeous.
