Ramadan Mubarak!

Welcome, Ramadan!

I looked, early this morning, to see if I could spot that thin thin sliver of a crescent moon. The sky – at 4:45 a.m. was clear and there were twinkling stars, but if there was a thin crescent moon, I couldn’t find it.

Wishing you all, my brothers and sisters, a blessed month of contemplation and spiritual enhancement, of family time and time for reading the Qur’an, of sacrifice and joy.

  6. I believe you, Jewaira! Thank you; I actually love Ramadan now that I understand it better. I’m still learning all the time.

Daggero – Thank you! I didn’t take photos. Today was so brutal, so hot, so humid, all I could think was “God have mercy on all who are fasting. ” It is a good thing to know the days will be getting cooler and shorter, that is a mercy.

    N. I think you are right. The Kuwait Scientific club needs to invite us all for a moonsighting, don’t you think?

    Purgatory – Yes!

    Thank you, Chika. 🙂
