Blessing Friday Sunrise
So you might think it a curse to have to get up early on a Friday morning, but I started falling asleep around nine last night, and by 5:30 this morning, I had enough sleep. π The Qatteri Cat and I were just sitting, watching the necklace of fishing boats off the coast, their lights twinkling, watching the light change. There are too many sunrises this morning – it is the most glorious morning! Thank God for these amazing clouds!
This is “Not-the-Sunrise.” It is in the opposite direction from the sunrise; the sun can’t break through the clouds but there is this high pink reflection on far-away clouds:

This is the sun just beginning penetrate the low laying clouds on the horizon:

This is because it is so beautiful and I can’t stop myself, I love the outlining on the clouds:

This is because the birds flew in and how often does that happen at just the right time?

And this one – same day, same sunrise – is taken an hour later. Looks like a totally different day, doesn’t it?

Who would ever guess that this girl from the rainy Pacific Northwest would get such a thrill out of the return of rainclouds?
The five day forecast shows scattered clouds, lowering temperatures (Wooo HOOOOO!) but . . . where did the chance of rain go?

Rise and shine all you sleeping beauties
it rained a bit this morning
wow ! seb7an allah ! 7asafa i missed hal jaw
I was on the 30 and got rained on, it was hitting the car so hard I thought it was hail for a moment! I wanted to make a U-Turn and go back into the rainstorm but had an appointment….
Thanks, Daggero! π
Ansam, no kidding! It didn’t rain where I was! The first rain, woooo HOOO and you got to see it!
Glory to God, indeed, Cr8ivia
Q8Dutchie – holy smokes! I thought Ansam was talking about a sprinkle. It was really coming down? Holy smokes!
the one with the flock of birds ,, just heavenly ! π
and I snapped a picture too LOL
Oh! AbdulAziz! Like poetry for my ears!
Ansam – a photo of the rain? Wooo HOOO, I am on my way to your blog right now.
dont know if you had this in mind or not but if the flock was any other place they would not have shown in the picture ,, they just happened to be at the right place and the right time for you to shoot the picture ,,
they were just at the spot where the rays of sun were penetrating the clouds and falling on the birds..
and this is why its my favourate !! π
AbdulAziz, I would love to tell you I had control over that shot, but – I didn’t. I was shooting away and I saw the birds. I shot. Didn’t try to frame or anything, and you know digital – there is that tiny delay that makes things less predictable, you know? I saw the birds, I shot (again – I was in the midst of shooting) but I can’t take credit for where they ended up in the shot. That is the sheer grace of God.
amazing
btw you’re getting so good at this
Pearls, you are so kind. Thank you. People wonder why I am a morning person, but by the grace of God, the sunrise makes my day.
