2. Great colours…

   Sailors don’t take the warnings of the coast guard – I highly doubt a colourful sky would put them off. Especially on a glorious day like today.

   True Story:

   A friend of mine was sailing on a very foggy day once (about two years ago). The silly man ended up near Shuwaikh and all on board were wondering why the fog was suddenly turning black? As they squinted and made silly sounds to concentrate, they all screamed at once Shhhhhhiiiiiiiip (with a “p”).

   It was a HUGE frieghter with a massive shipment of cars on it – moored only 5 metres away from them! They had to turn and do it fast 🙂 No-one was hurt – but they had no drinks left. The icebox fell off board as they turned 180 deg.

   Bu Yousef – That is one great – and terrifying – story. I grew up on boats. It’s easy for things to go bad very quickly . . thanks be to God all ended well with that story. Losing drinks – small matter. 🙂

   Kharbota – it was for mere seconds – and then it all turned pale and gold and totally normal. That sunrise cloud color was so out-of-the-normal I had to shoot it. 🙂
