Here There and Everywhere 
The economic downturn has nothing to do with this.Everytime I visited Hong Kong from before the economic tsunami hit, she was there on the bridge connecting the pier terminal to the IFC mall. Somehow the sight of geriatric beggars in the New Territories Hong Kong does not at all sit well with me. Give me the buskers on the underground anyday.

Ah! I didn’t know this was Hong Kong; I am not a great fan of begging in general, but I love the street musicians, especially in Paris, where some of them are SO good!
