The Newest Mac Attack Ad by Microsoft

LLLLOOOOLLLLLL!

“Macs are more about the aesthetics” (and oh-by-the way, avoiding viruses, ease of use, etc etc etc!)

“I’m a PC because I’m really picky.”

LLLOOOLLLLL!

  1. Yeah, it’s an obvious attack against Macs. It’s such a shame for the giant company to stoop that low.

  2. Actually, I am a great admirer of Bill and Melinda Gates, who give more than most countries to furthering the prevention of malaria, combatting the new antibiotic resistant strains of TB, etc. They have used their fortune to do great good.

What I think is funny is that the Mac vs PC ads which we saw a while back were quirky – and funny! These are just lame.

I see one of the automatically generated possibly related posts above says that images for the ads were created on Macs – how funny is that? 🙂

  3. I LOVED the PC vs Mac ads from a few years ago. I don’t really see the ads as “stooping” on anybody’s part. They’re funny and express the opinion of quite a few of we consumers.
Each time I buy a new computer, I seriously consider a Mac (they really are so sexy) but in the end, economics always wins. And while I occasionally get the ‘Blue Screen of Death’ on my Win XP OS, I’ve never had enough trouble to justify the price difference. As long as there is $$$ of dollars difference in price, the Macs will stay at the Temple of Apple and I’ll be taking home a PC.

P.S. I also don’t begrudge a single dime of my cheaper PC that goes toward whatever Bill and Melinda Gates are doing at the moment.

  6. You are right, Mathai, I am a MAC user, but very humble. I use a Mac because I consider it a tool, and I am just a tool user. I need for my tool to work when I need it to work.

I have also used PCs, at work, and I found them clunky, slow, and prone to lose my precious work. I was always having to call in IT guys to make something go away or something work. In my private life, Mac is just so hassle free that it is worth the extra expense. I save time, energy and spirit, as well as cash, because I don’t have to pay someone like you to fix the problems – I don’t have problems! 😛
