  1. See? that’s why I hate cats.. they think they’re better than us. A dog is a man’s BEST FRIEND!! 😀 (no offense to cat lovers :P)

  3. What do humans think of cats and dogs ?

3 different reference frames, 3 different views.

Where are the co-ordinates of the origin ?

  4. LOL, Mathai, dogs are sweet and loyal and loving. Cats are enigmatic!

Soul, my reference point is way out there. I believe in the conservation of matter and energy applying beyond our wildest ability to conceive, I believe in the conservation of spiritual matter, so it means I am probably related equally (sub-atomically) to both the cat and the dog and ewwwwwwwww, even the cockroach.

  5. And if you allow me to be audacious, how do you relate in the thought generation process ?

    Is that also conserved ?

  6. No, I don’t think so. Think about it, Soul, can you even remember thoughts you had two weeks ago? I think thoughts are ephemeral, unless we write them down, and “Now we see through the glass, darkly” which means that as far as we have come as human beings, there is still so much that is a mystery, so much we don’t know. One of the things we are promised in the afterlife is that we will see, and know, and understand. I can’t help but look forward to that!

I think it has to do with us all being interconnected, all being made of the same particles, same substance. One day, God willing, we will be part of the mind of God, and that will be unimaginably glorious.

Now how is that for audacious?? 🙂

  7. I was still wondering about how I can make sense *of the relation* of the Dog’s thinking, Cat’s thinking and the Human thinking.

I cannot think of an equation, while taking principle of conservation into consideration.

Sometimes, it is fantastic to see the points of view relatively, than absolutely.

  10. Much that is now scientific was once mystical, Soul.

Thinking differently is in the hard wiring. As I see it, God made a cat to be a cat – their brains are tiny, and most of what they are “thinking” is “Food! Food!” or “warm! warm”. Unless they have the luxury of being a beloved pet, most of their brain activity relates to survival.

In the greater scheme of things, there is an equation and one day, God willing, you will know it. Or maybe it will no longer matter! Or maybe both!

Jesus said the kingdom of God is right here, among us, if we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. None of us can know – we have the brains of cats compared to the Almighty – but my guess is that it has to do with that connectivity, that connection between each and every living thing. I think that is a particle of the Kingdom.

  11. LOL, MC, I like dogs, too. They are loyal and energetic and – when treated well – serve their families, even give their lives for them. God created a wonderful creature when he created dogs.
