Australia – the movie
Back last November when we were back visiting family, our daughter-in-law went with her cousins to a late showing of Australia, which got later and later and later. The next day, she said “I had no idea it was such a LONG movie! There were like three endings!”

What we didn’t know – until we watched it last night for ourselves – is how much FUN the movie is. No, it probably won’t ever win any awards for great acting, but it had some hilarious scenes, some touching moments and it had allusions to other great adventure-type movies, including Indiana Jones. We loved watching it, and watched it from beginning to end without taking a break, which is amazing – it really is a LONG film.
Romance, drama, adventure, great scenery -it’s all there.

I enjoyed it thoroughly 🙂
It offered all that which was captivating in previous good movies.
~ Soul
i thought the whole thing was obnoxiously long, nicole kidman was sooooo intolerable through out, the only redeeming quality was the adorable child
We also enjoyed it all the way thru. I think Hugh Jackman makes a fine Indy Jones!
Soul – It’s a grand adventure! I’m glad you liked it, too!
Victoria – We don’t all share the same tastes. I thought Kidman was hysterical. She has a gift for comedy. I loved all her bustling and frowning as the grande dame, and her down-to-earth coping with reality and her ability to go after what she wanted. She played – well, I think, a woman who was courageous, and lived life large.
Momcat – LLLOOLLL – we so often like the same things! What are you watcing on TV these days?
Not much–waiting for the latest seasons to come out on DVD. I have really been enjoying The Unit. I am looking for some new series to pick up on DVD. Any suggestions? I got Damages on your recommendation and enjoyed that.
True Blood! I thought I was going to hate it, and I loved it! I can hardly wait for the next season! When does the next season of Damages start, do you know? Do you watch Heroes? And of course, House? 🙂
why did you steal and take and alter the name I spoke and created Aafke ministry of dreams to the ministry of dreams, you write your friend Ahmed Al-Omran and tell him to remove it immediatley before I start emailing your witchs, friends and tell them you stole the God spoken created birthed name ministry of dreams, you wanted to ruin my servant, now hear the word of the LORd, your friend has it emailed and posted on his blog, it is protected and you and him can be sued but I the LOrd say embarras the witchs and watch them run to remvoe the name I hid and spoke ministry of dreams, you will beg him to remove after lauging and knowing emails are coming saith God, here is the sign, it will be posted on the internet with your whole name in time, and never come off, then think to ruin my servant and laugh, you will loose much, then, remove, and be warned, sickness will come to your face aafke if you start trying tricks, jsut watch bumbs appear on kneck 5 seconds after reading this letter if you rebell, you devil like your reverend dr. rev. jeremy taylor u.u. and his reverend antonia vladimirova and their friend diana hughey has ministryofdreams.com and their friend jon sawyer and ginny hill and all who take the name I spoke and created saith Jesus, ministry of dreams, here is google cache: Wild Dreams « Saudi Jeans
