Alf Mabruk (a thousand congratulations!) on your selection, Amer, and many many thanks for accepting the responsibilitiies of promoting the Kuwait blogging community. 🙂

Amer
Good on you mate ,
now we have wasta there
I’m embarrassed to say I have never read/come across Global Voices. Thank you intlxpatr and good luck Amer.
Intlx thanks for the kind comments! I have two posts up already and I am doing the English language posts – Forzaq8 is also co-author and will cover the Arabic language posts -the work isn’t particularly hard its the selection, making sure everyone gets a fair share and the topics are varied and balanced.
Thanks again and my best to all.
BTW bloggers, if you are reading this and usually post in Arabic, but prefer English coverage of your post, send a brief translated paragraph to webmaster@hilaliya.com and hopefully we can insert it in the ‘Global Voices’ Kuwait thread.

Great news!
Amer, you deserve it!
Keep up the good work 🙂
