Photos of Chaos

. . . this is just the upstairs area. The kitchen is already good, the downstairs living room – haven’t even started. This is what chaos looks like:

  1. When we pack-up things…. we just want to dump it in the box and “get it over with”…… but when it comes to un-packing that’s when we… ponder …. “did we have all these things” in the last place…. 🙂

  2. I would not love to be in your situation! Moving, packing, and unpacking is a headache!!

  3. LLOOLL, Q8Expat! I ponder in both directions!

Ansam, and a pain in the neck, and a pain in the back, and a pain in the shoulders, and and and and and . . . !

  4. I’m tired just looking at these boxes… Good luck. It will all be behind you soon and hopefully you can relax.

  5. Oh, this looks so familiar! I know it’s a lot lot lot of work, but somehow I never mind this part of moving so much. I can do it at my own pace, and trying to find places for our stuff to fit into a new place is kind of, well, fun.

Not to say that it isn’t really a lot lot lot of work!

    Keep trucking!

  6. Thanks, Bu Yousef. I’m a little obsessive (that’s why I sound so grumpy) and I don’t let myself do anything fun until everything is put away. It’s one great thing about being in Doha in the summer – not a lot of competition for my time, LOL!

Miss Footloose, it used to be fun. This is move #30 in my life. Even AdventureMan said “this is getting old. I don’t want to do this any more!”

  7. Move Nr. 30, yes, that’s getting there! Holy smokes. Our last two foreign stays were 3.5 years in Ghana and 6 years in Armenia with a short 1 1/2 years in Palestine before that, so we had enough time to recuperate between moves.

Wish I could come over and give you a hand!

  8. Humph. The first picture looks like my bedroom and I’ve been there 6 months…

  10. I wish you could, too, Miss Footloose!

    LLLOOOLLL, BitJockey! It’s like you don’t plan on staying . . . !

LLOOLL, Momcat, it hasn’t been that long, has it?
