Bu Yousef’s Haiti Challenge

My Kuwait blogging friend, Bu Yousef, is about to send a donation to the World Food Program designated to help Haiti. He has set a challenge to all bloggers and blog readers. Please, go comment on his post. For every unique comment he gets on his post (one per person), his donation will go up $1 from a minimum $50 to a maximum of $200. It’s up to us.

I would love for BuYousef to hit his maximum. I would love for him to be so overwhelmed, that he ups his maximum to $250. πŸ˜‰

Please go say good morning/good evening to BuYousef, and do it NOW! Thank you!

Bu Yousef, AdventureMan and I will match your donation. πŸ™‚

    Regina here, for ExpatWomen.com.

I would like to personally invite you to list your blog on our Expat Women Blog Directory (www.expatwomen.com/expatblog/) so that other women can read about and learn from your expat experiences.

Many thanks in advance for your contribution and keep up your great blog!

  4. LOL, Bu Yousef, I love your initiative! I agree with SuperD on your comments, by the way; Doctors without Borders is there and doing a great job.

Vinnie! I am so glad to see you! Thank you for your kind words! πŸ˜€

Regina, I am embarrassed to tell you, I am already part of ExpatWomen, but I think I am still registered as Kuwait, not Qatar.

  6. Hello…

3 hours left… We’re at $104. I will of course raise it to $250 if we get there. So far, I’m sticking to WFP. Your generous matching donation should go to anywhere you choose – but please let us know where – so I can update my post. I intend to make the donation at 12:00 today (Friday prayer time).

Thank you so much for your kind support – yours and your husband’s.

  8. Q8Dutchie – Qatar sent a plane, a medical mission and all kinds of supplies. I think they were one of the first countries to respond, and with crucial supplies and services. Bravo, Qatar!

Bu Yousef, we matched your contribution to the World Food Program: Haiti. πŸ™‚

  12. I just found out an exciting fact today! Here is the math behind the Heidi Relief Donation on my end:

    Polar Panda donate $249
    Talisman matches $249
My consulting firm (Sierra systems) matches $249
    Canadian Government matches $249 x 3
    Total: $1494

    Oh, that is so neat!
