Polite Reminder

Don’t you love this sign? It is so polite! Asking people not to smoke, even though it is outside, and – LOL – even though this restaurant encourages shisha smokers!

  4. LLOOLL, Danderma, not Starbucks! This is in the Souk al Waqif, and there is NO Starbucks there. I think it was Cafe Brussels . . . but maybe one of the others. And it was outside, where people are allowed to smoke, but fewer and fewer people here are smoking. I never thought I would see such a change in such a short time, but NO SMOKING is the accepted rule now; I think Qattaris are encouraging stopping smoking for health reasons.

    Ken – even in Kuwait, I thought there was a reduction. Not so many people smoking right under the ‘no smoking’ sign, LOL!

    Mac – You are speaking from experience? 😉 Hope life is treating you well, and that your enjoying your new status. 🙂
