Once again, my Kuwaiti friend has sent me amazing footage of a father-son Science project, where they found a way to send a camera and iPhone into the atmosphere, broadcasting what it saw back to earth. The video story is here:

  2. I don’t know why in every case, but I know in my case, I was always thrilled for my husband and son to have their own special time and projects together. It could as easily – and wonderfully – be a father-daughter project. šŸ™‚

So, Daggero, what is the very best time YOU can remember having with your father?

  3. Best time i had with my late father as child is a toss up between eating Kebab when visiting Basrah ages ago or teaching me to drive his car in the desert as a young 12 or maybe 13 years old

  4. šŸ™‚ Those sound like truly wonderful memories. I would have loved to see you learning how to drive, and I imagine your Father was a man of amazing patience. šŸ˜€

  5. The genuine ‘can-do’ of this project is staggering. If NASA isn’t careful, someone with an iPad, a Bick pen, and a remote control model spaceship will be landing on Mars. lol. That is an amazingly creative pair. (Mom is probably at the spa) It’s where I would be while Bill taught the girls geometry using the local pool hall. Dads are pretty cool at that stuff.

  6. LLOOLL, DaisyMae, that’s what made “the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection” real for me, too! Pool! I totally LOVED Geometry!

I also love the minds that see a challenge and start figuring out how to make it happen. šŸ™‚

    • It’s been a long long time since we have seen a bird-cameral flight, Bu Yousef. I check every now and then, the pigeon blog, hoping there will be new footage. šŸ™‚
