girls should be doing intelligent things
Hocus, got our attention, didn’t it?
I’ve heard this criticism before. It’s not to get the word “bossy” banned, it’s to strengthen young girls and women not to mind being called bossy. It’s banning the concept that women are meant to be quiet and submissive, instead of confident and directive. I don’t think all women need to be leaders of major corporations, or the nation, but we need more training to be the leaders we can be.
