what is it with our family and the smell of fuel? my mother used to open the car door whenever we stopped to refuel – while my father paid the gas station attendant, she, sporty diamond and I all breathed deeply :-).
Oh I love the smell of kerosene, and car fuel 🙂

Little Diamond – I think we have the jet fuel in our blood – think how we are always on the go . . .
Oh, fuel sniffing is definitely a family trait. Always roll down the window at the gas station – ahhhh. And the best thing I can think of about boats is the smell of gas (minus the lovely exhaust) that lingers in the air of our small local marina.
Sparkle, sweetie, if you are signed in, your name will appear in blue and people can also visit your blog Flashes of Light. Yeh, what is it with us and the smell of fuel? I do like boat fuel, too, but most of all, jet fuel. . . and I hear the strains of “planes and boats and trains . . .” but I don’t think of it taking others away from me, but . . . “a trip to Paris or Rome!” 🙂 Oh! Didn’t we have fun in Paris?? and your son, what a hoot, taking those photos of you at the clothesline in Germany . . . oh! oh! I am dying laughing! *tears rolling down cheeks!*
