(Oh what fun!)

Sounds wonderful!
Kuwait is so small, maybe it’s a coincidence – but the style of writing reminds of a family in Egaila…could it be the same? 🙂
How awesome that you get to have such a great celebration. I love the semi traditional ways we celebrate as expats. I remember living in Chile we had to get creative with the turkey because they feed their livestock fishmeal so it tastes fishy–and worse, smells fishy while you cook it for 3-4 hours. We injected them with white wine and put citrus fruit under the skin and in the cavity to counteract the fish. Enjoy!
LOL @ momcat
This sounds great, I love thanksgiving.
Aren’t they a fun family? We are so lucky.
Stinni – No, they are in Florida!
Momcat – That story always cracks me up – oh ugh, the very thought of fishy turkey!
Elijah – Do you cook a turkey?
No, but when we were in the States we used to. My friend invited me to Christmas dinner last year and she made a turkey.
Thanksgiving is always the most fun when everybody does something, pitches in. I am imagining your family cooking a Thanksgiving turkey. I hope you had lots of friends to share it with!
